Toshiba R705-P41 Reviews

I have owned the computer for about a month. It is exactly as advertised. I installed 8gb of RAM about a week ago. This improved my performance in Photoshop as expected. If you are not doing photo editing 4gb RAM will be more than sufficient. It is a little warm and fan noise is noticable but it is a fair compromise for its compact package. This is a quality product for the price. The only negative I have is the touch pad. It is very functional if you are a touch pad person. It has pinch zoom like cell phones. It has one or two finger scrolling and more. The only complaint is the compact nature of the computer results in a lot of incidental contact. This contact on occasion has moved my cursor while typing. My solution is turn it off which is very easy, there is a on/off button directly above it. I purchased a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse to overcome this which I have been extremely happy with.
